So, I am already an epic failure. It has been over a month and my promise to attempt to post something everyday clearly did not happen. But, thus is our family's life. We have battled the flu, colds and everything in between and I just did not have the energy to post anything. However, on February 9th we did attend the Telus World of Science in Edmonton. Before you ask, no we did do the Star Wars Exhibit. It was too much money for our two little guys that would not appreciate it. However we did do the rest and it was a lot of fun. Ryan especially loved the carnival mirrors we spent a lot of time in front of those. I enjoyed myself mostly because it was put on by the MFRC so we did have to drive and it was educational. This is horrible to say but my favourite part of the entire day was when Jaiden threw up in the food court. Totally not his fault, he was not eating his disgusting hot dog and fries, we were still battling the tail end of a flu and it was a lot of excitement for one kid. It was definitely the highlight of the day for me, not sure about Graham but it was funny. Definitely a story for when he gets older. The only real downside to the entire trip was the food. We rode the bus from the base here and had never been anywhere near the science centre, so we did not know what options for eating were in the vicinity. Thus, we ate the food court. It was terrible. The food was awful, the hot dogs did not even taste like hot dogs, the fries were soggy and gross and it was almost $40 for the four of us to eat. I would suggest they look into a better catering option for people that go for the day or have a bring your own lunch option.
Now onto the other exciting news...there really is not much. Graham and I have joined a Butt Out group to help us quit smoking. He has decided Champix is his best option, I have decide to go with the patch. A little secret about the DND, they pay for everything for their members and hardly anything for the member's spouse. And due to the fact I still cannot get into to a doctor in town or within 50kms of it, a prescription stop smoking aid was not an option. Please put us in your pleasant thoughts in this regard, we do really want to quit this time and if we do it for a year, we are taking the kids and my Mom to Disney!
Well...that's all for now, thanks for the read. Hopefully, there will be more posts in a higher frequency now that we are starting to get back to good health.
I will get some photos up soon, I am working on some collages and edits.

Welcome...
So the whole blogger thing has really taken off. Well maybe not recently but I have started reading a lot out there. There are so many crafty people with great ideas and fantastic tutorials. So, I have decided to try my hand at it. Maybe not the crafty part (I am no where near on par with the women that I follow) but definitely the family part. It would be nice to be able to fill everyone in on the things we do here and not have to make fourteen phone calls or emails (cause you all know I am really good at that!). I am not promising daily or weekly posts but I am definitely setting a goal for at least monthly updates. Graham and I will use it fill you in on the day to day dramas, laughs and downright crazy things that two little boys bring to our lives. We love you all and miss you all very much...
